AUDIOWAYS LAUNCHES NEXT PHASE OF QR CODE RECORDINGS, 2024

Audioways, a QR audio trail across Lewes district has launched their latest set of signs which tell eclectic, site-specific stories - from the natural world to the fascinating stories of the history which precedes us.

The latest series of these free, easy to access audio recordings has mostly been placed in Newhaven.

With the support of SCRP, Southern, The Chalk Cliff Trust, Lewes Town Council, Visit Lewes and Enjoolata, co producers Jenny Flood, Jeannine Inglis Hall and Galia Pike have worked with a range of collaborators from artists and naturalists to residents who have shared their local insights and personal stories to create a series now in excess of 40 short audio recordings.

LOCAL STORIES

The recordings can be accessed via QR code signage dotted around Newhaven and Lewes town and local stations. Participants can listen to these recordings as a singular experience or curate their own route to listen to them all.
